Who We Are

The Springwoods Advisory Council (SAC) is a group of parents to include the parent liaison who enjoy the unique opportunity to share perspectives, experiences, and recommendations with school leadership to support the development of the annual School Improvement Plan.

Can anyone join SAC?

Yes, every parent and community member can join SAC. Do you have a child at SPES? Are you interested in your school's plans? That's all you need to join.

How do I join SAC?

Look for the electronic and paper recruitment early in the school year. You may also contact the principal or current Chairperson directly ([email protected]) with your interest and to request the application form.

Why do I need to fill out an application?

Everyone can join SAC. However, equal representation of all grades levels and special programs is desired. The application allows the current council to ensure every grade level and program is represented. Reviews are blind (with names removed). Everyone can attend meetings.
